In addition, Barn Manager Dee Osborne specializes in preparing young horses for in-hand competitions (Hunter Breeding, in-hand Breed Shows, and Breed Inspections). All KWPN horses shown on this website spent two to three years at Paard Hill Farms in Manheim following their importation.
Paard Hill Manheim has several boarding options:
FULL CARE BOARD - stall board. Hay, grain, paste worming 6 times a year, daily turnout, basic grooming, and simple medical treatments are included.
PASTURE BOARD - includes supplemental hay and grain in the winter. Pasture board horses roam around in a fenced 40-acre pasture with a large run-in shed and automatic waterers. If a pasture board horse sustains an injury it will be transferred to full care until the injury heals.
SHOW PREPARATION BOARD - includes full care plus thorough daily grooming, training for in-hand showing, regular arena exercise and longeing, and getting the horse conditioned to clipping, loading, and bathing. General stable manners are emphasized.
Paard Hill Manheim is only an hour away from the New Bolton Veterinary Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania which provides some of the finest equine care in the country.
